The firm

Who we are & where we work

What does WSEP Consulting Group do?
WSEP is an international management consulting firm headquartered in Yaoundé, Cameroon. We advise businesses, governments and development organizations across three pillars — Strategy, Performance and Transformation — through six practice areas: Strategy & Management Consulting, Performance & Financial Advisory, Tax/Accounting & Compliance, People & Organisation, International Development Consulting, and Investment, Trade & Market Entry. See Our Services.
Where are your offices located?
Our headquarters is in Yaoundé, Cameroon (Central Africa Operations), with international offices in London (UK & European Office), Washington, D.C. (North America & International Development Office) and Dubai (Middle East, Investment & International Business Office). Each office plays a dedicated strategic role, so clients are supported close to their own market.
Do you work in both English and French?
Yes. All engagements can be delivered bilingually, and our team is fluent in OHADA — the legal and accounting framework used across Cameroon and the CEMAC region — as well as IFRS for international reporting.
Which sectors do you serve?
Nine core sectors: agribusiness & agro‑processing, banking/insurance & microfinance, energy/water & utilities, logistics/ports & trade, public sector & institutions, telecom/media & technology, healthcare & education, and construction/real estate & materials. Details on Industries.
Do you only work in Cameroon?
No. From Yaoundé we serve the whole CEMAC region (Cameroon, Gabon, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic and Congo), while our international offices support clients and partners in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Working together

Engagements & our method

How does an engagement begin?
With a free, confidential 45‑minute diagnostic call. If there’s a fit, we submit a short proposal defining scope, timeline, team and fees. Once approved, we kick off with a Diagnose phase — fact‑based audits, data analysis and stakeholder interviews.
How long does a typical engagement last?
It depends on scope: diagnostics and feasibility studies run 2–6 weeks; strategy engagements 6–12 weeks; implementation support typically 6–18 months. Milestones and review points are agreed in writing before we start.
What is your four‑step method?
Diagnose → Design → Implement → Sustain. We don’t stop at reports: embedded teams drive execution with your staff, and the Sustain phase transfers skills through training and quarterly reviews so results stick after we leave.
Will we actually work with senior consultants?
Yes — WSEP operates a partner‑led model. Partners stay involved in every engagement from first call to final review, not only at the pitch. See Our Team.
Can you work alongside our existing auditors, lawyers or accountants?
Absolutely. We embed with your internal teams and coordinate with your external advisers rather than replacing them — our role is to add strategy, speed and specialist depth.
Fees & trust

What it costs — and how we protect you

How do you charge for your services?
Wherever possible we use fixed fees per phase, so you always know the cost upfront. For ongoing advisory we offer monthly retainers, and for certain diagnostics, day rates. Everything is agreed in writing before kickoff — no hidden costs.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. The 45‑minute diagnostic call is free and without obligation. Its purpose is to understand your challenge and outline a recommended approach — you keep the notes either way.
Will our information stay confidential?
Absolutely. Integrity and confidentiality are core values. We sign NDAs on request, and client identities are protected by default — which is why our published case studies focus on results rather than names.
We’re a small business. Is WSEP only for large organisations?
No. We work with SMEs, cooperatives and startups as well as banks, industrial groups and public institutions. Teams and fees are scaled to the size and stage of your organisation.
Can you help us raise capital or become investor‑ready?
Yes. Our Performance & Financial Advisory practice handles valuation, financial modelling and investor‑grade information memoranda, while our Dubai and London offices support investor matchmaking for Middle East–Africa and European capital.
International clients

Working with us from abroad

We’re foreign investors looking at Cameroon / CEMAC. How do we start?
Begin with the office nearest you — London, Washington, D.C. or Dubai — for market intelligence, partner screening and structuring advice. Our Yaoundé headquarters then handles on‑the‑ground execution, regulatory liaison and delivery.
Do you work with development organisations, NGOs and public institutions?
Yes. We design programmes, build monitoring & evaluation frameworks and deliver capacity building. Our Washington, D.C. office focuses on U.S. clients, development organizations and international development work.
Can you support Middle East–Africa trade and investment?
Yes — our Dubai office leads Middle East–Africa investment, trade and business development, connecting Gulf capital with bankable projects in Cameroon and the wider region.
Do your consultants travel to client sites?
Yes. We use a hybrid delivery model: on‑site presence where it matters, remote continuity in between. With teams across four time zones, there is always a WSEP office awake when you are.
WSEP Consulting Group — Strategy. Performance. Transformation.
